Icyayi Songa Lodge is proud to be Rwanda’s first tea-themed luxury lodge, thoughtfully designed to celebrate the country’s rich tea culture. Nestled beside the rolling tea plantations near Nyungwe National Park, every detail of the lodge reflects this heritage—from the architecture and décor to curated tea experiences that connect guests to the land and its people. Our uniqueness lies not only in theme, but in our commitment to sustainability and community. The lodge was built with eco-friendly practices, ensuring minimal impact on the surrounding environment, while also empowering local communities through employment, training, and partnerships with nearby farmers and artisans. Guests enjoy a harmonious blend of luxury and responsibility, where indulgence goes hand in hand with conservation and cultural preservation. At Icyayi Songa Lodge, we invite travelers to immerse themselves in a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates Rwanda’s landscapes, flavors, and traditions—while knowing their stay contributes directly to the protection of nature and the well-being of local communities.
